Question 1

What is an AI agent?

Accepted Answer

An AI agent is software that pursues a goal across several steps: it reads information, reasons about what to do, uses tools and business systems to act, checks its own work, and hands decisions it is not authorised to make to a person. HYVE builds agents that run real business processes inside your systems, not chat interfaces.

Question 2

How is an AI agent different from a chatbot?

Accepted Answer

A chatbot answers the question you ask. An agent does the work: it notices an overdue invoice, checks the account, drafts the reminder, logs it in the ERP and escalates if the customer disputes it. Agents act within policies and permissions, and they record every step.

Question 3

Are these off-the-shelf products?

Accepted Answer

They are proven starting points. Each agent's core capabilities, connectors and controls already exist on HYVE AgentOS, and each deployment is configured around your data, SOPs, permissions and approval flows. You get a tailored agent without paying for a build from scratch.

Question 4

How do HYVE agents stay under control?

Accepted Answer

Every agent has a named human owner, role-based permissions, policy and spend limits, confidence thresholds that trigger escalation, and an immutable audit log. High-stakes actions always pass a human approval gate.

Question 5

Which agent should we start with?

Accepted Answer

Start where volume, cost and clear rules meet: accounts payable, customer operations, document processing and onboarding are common first agents. Discovery ranks your workflows by value and readiness and recommends the first deployment.

Question 6

How much does an AI agent cost?

Accepted Answer

HYVE agents start from USD 10,000 (AED 37,000) for standard agents, USD 20,000 (AED 74,000) for advanced agents and USD 35,000 (AED 129,000) for enterprise agents, excluding VAT. The price covers one production workflow live in 4–6 weeks; monthly usage and support are quoted after discovery.

Question 7

Do you build agents for workflows not listed here?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The catalog covers the most common patterns, and most clients end up with agents shaped around their own processes. The Company-Specific Operating Workforce exists for exactly that.
